City Supports Berteman Jakarta Program

Jakarta Provincial Government supports Berlalu Lintas Tertib dan Aman (Berteman) Jakarta (Jakarta Safe and Orderly Traffic) program initiated by Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas).

There is a new approach in serving people

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan said, this new innovation conducted by Polda Metro Jaya should be appreciated. Moreover, it is realized in this Ramadan moment.

"There is a new approach in serving people which is done from late afternoon until dawn. This is an unique program and Jakarta Government support it," he stated while attending soft launching of Berteman Jakarta program at Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas yard, South Jakarta, Monday (6/4).

Tebet Station Area will Be Made as Orderly Traffic Area

Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya Head, Irjen Pol Idham Azis said, main purpose from this program is to realize orderly society in traffic.

"Ditlantas can't work alone. Thus we are supported by Jakarta Governor, Pangdam, and all POM TNI apparatuses," he mentioned.

For information, Berteman Jakarta program consists of mobile SIM (driving license) service in mosques during Ramadan, education about conducting homecoming without using motorcycle, road safety partnership action, smart management of SIM, and stop n go service.
